CORNWALL WOMAN WINS ESCAPE GETAWAY

Charlottetown, PEI, November 17, 2003 - Wilma Small, a teacher in Cornwall PEI, is the winner of the Save & Win contest sponsored by Brunswick® and Gold Seal®
Ms. Small has won a 3-night getaway at Keltic Lodge on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton.

“ I never thought I would win,” said Ms. Small. “ I entered because we had planned on taking a trip to Keltic Lodge last summer and never got the chance to, and when I saw the opportunity in the store I had to enter. I was just doing my shopping and now I have a free vacation, it’s great.”

Ms. Small picked up her entry form at the University Avenue Sobeys in Charlottetown.

“This was the first in-store contest that we have done and we’re thrilled with the results,” stated David Lomas, Senior Marketing Director of Connors Bros., Ltd., the makers of Brunswick® products. “We wanted to offer our customers something that tied into our promotion of healthy living and this was perfect. The feedback we have received has been tremendous.”

“Making healthy choices for your diet can be as easy as selecting fish and seafood more often from the menu,” said John Whitman, Vice President of Marketing for the Canadian Fishing Company, makers of Gold Seal® products. “Many consumers are unaware of the benefits of canned seafood and this contest helped raise awareness of our products and their contributions to healthy lifestyles.”

The 3-night prize package is valued at $2,500 and includes a relaxation massage, foot or facial massage, round of golf with cart at Highland Links, whale watching excursion, sea kayaking excursion with packed lunches, private guided hike to Middlehead, Keltic Lodge sweatshirts, Birch Tree Gift Ship gift voucher, Highland Sitting Room Bar voucher, champagne and cheese/fruit tray in room, VIP fruit basket, Keltic make chocolates, wine with dinner each evening, and a Cape Breton Highlands Park entry fee.

Open to all residents of Atlantic Canada, the contest sponsored by Connors Bros., Limited and Canadian Fishing Company, ran from August 25 to October 1, 2003 in participating Atlantic grocery stores. The draw took place on October 20, 2003 by a representative from the accounting and auditing firm of KPMG.
